《Where Is the Green Sheep 绿色的羊在哪里》这本书从寻找绿色的小羊the green sheep出发，不断找到在做着各种各样事情的小绵羊。

晴天下雨、星星月亮、远的近的、胆小勇敢... 全书在间隔询问Where is the green sheep?

之外只使用了唯一的句式，Here is the ... sheep，填空式的教会小盆友各种相对的词汇。

这本书的结尾也很有趣，终于找到了这只绿色的小绵羊，偷偷的看一下，它在做什么呢？

《Where Is the Green Sheep》是澳大利亚童书女作家Mem Fox的作品，插画作者Judy Horacek，出版于2004年。

这本书可以说是澳洲童书市场的奇迹，自出版经连续多年获得销售冠军，并且取得众多大奖， 是英语启蒙的极佳素材。

作者Mem Fox是使用节奏韵律的高手。

一起来看下面的例子：

Here is the wind sheep.
And here is the wave sheep.
Here is the scared sheep,and here is the brave sheep.

作者把这称之为ABCB韵律模式，四句一组，每组有两对。整本书都是这样的节奏模式不断重复。每对中的两个概念都是互有联系的，即wind sheep与wave sheep, scared sheep与brave sheep。

这样的联系往往体现了概念的对比性，对小朋友的认知来说是非常有利。

整本绘本以一个句型Here is和Where is the green sheep？

这样一个问题贯穿始终，让小朋友在充满好奇地探索过程中不断地练习句型和接触各类丰富的词汇。

亲子游戏

只需挑选孩子感兴趣的游戏进行亲子活动即可

1. 小羊捉迷藏

家长找几件不同颜色的衣服，和孩子一起玩小羊捉迷藏，让孩子熟悉绘本中的句子，同时了解颜色相关的单词。
如：孩子穿上红色的衣服藏起来，家长找时嘴里就重复“Where is the RED sheep？”；找到后就说“Here is the RED sheep.”

2. 亲子画一画

家长和孩子一起画一画对比明显的小羊；

如：孩子画个宽宽胖胖的羊(wide sheep)，家长画个瘦瘦的羊(thin sheep)；

孩子画个高高的羊(tall sheep)，家长画个矮矮的羊(short sheep)；

孩子画个勇敢的羊(brave sheep)，家长画个胆小的羊(scared sheep)。
通过这个亲子活动，让孩子了解书中提到的(或者常见的)反义词。

3. 户外一起玩

带孩子在小区或公园游乐场时，可以一起演习绘本中的常见。

如：家长说“Where is the slide sheep?”，孩子就跑去玩滑梯；

家长说“Where is the swing sheep?”，孩子就去荡秋千。

家长可以进行行动的扩展

如： Where is the seesaw (跷跷板) sheep? Where is the sandpit (沙坑) sheep? Where is the running (奔跑) sheep?

也可以角色互换，由孩子来说，家长做玩相应的动作。
